Originally i was not going to include an about me page but after much thought and consideration I feel it is very important, after all it will explain how S2L came about and how long it has taken to get to this point. It will also show that this is truly something I believe in and am putting my money where my mouth is, as they say.

Now I am not a PHD, as you will summize rather quickly if you happen to be one. I am not even a college grad but I am a pretty good observer and have lived through a many things in my life. I have also taken many paths in my life which I have learned a great deal from. I am bascially an average everyday person with dreams and plans, as we all do, and I am doing something about it before it’s too late. I figure if I can do it then maybe, hopefully, someone reading this will  be at least a little inspired to do what they want to do.

So I was born and grew up in the same town I live in today. A great place to live. It is a beautiful town with plenty of wide open outdoor space for hiking, MT Biking, snowboarding. lots of lakes etc.. ,you get the picture, but also less than an hour to NYC. My childhood was great, mostly uneventful and kind of average the way I suspect many are. I have taken many different vocational paths in my life. I have worked as a pipefitter in the union, ran my own HVAC business, worked as a stock broker for Morgan Stanley, I was a sales manager for a 140 million dollar tech company, a real estate agent for Century 21, renovated and flipped houses and was an estimator for a construction company estimating multi-million dollar projects in NYC. Now you may be asking why so many changes? No, I didn’t get fired from all of my past positions, I was actually pretty good at all of them it was my decision to move on from all of these positions with the exception of the sales manager position. I did get layed off but it was when the tech bubble burst and I did make it to the fourth round of layoffs. Anyway, I am telling you this because I tried many things but non of them truly spoke to me or so that is what I thought. I never really felt I was doing what I was meant to do, what was my so called “calling”. Now what I discovered was that because I didn’t feel this was wat I truly wanted to do I never totally commit to my job. Maybe that is my personality or maybe I wanted more. In any event they just didn’t do it for me, they didn’t make me feel….well alive, and I wasn’t going to settle for doing something that took up that much of my life for a simple paycheck and so here I am making a run at building this brand, S2L.

I always wanted to help others and maybe

So why did I tell you all this? Well, you hear about and read stories all the time about extrodinary people overcoming adversity and challenges and while they are great stories that inspire us and show the tenacity of the human spirit there are many more of us who are fighting for our hopes and dreams and have stories that are not so compelling and inspiring but still we fight on. You see we are all human and we all have the same doubts and fears and it is those of us who persevere through our doubts and fears that will reap the rewards. So whatever challenges you have do not let them stand in your way of going after your dreams. Do not let your everyday live overpower your zest for life and do not let negative people into your life, ever! Life is to short.
